The CPC Learning Network translates the knowledge about effective programs and policies for children and families into guidance for practitioners and policymakers that is accessible, practical, and action-oriented. The Livelihoods and Economic Strengthening Task Force has developed a number of guidance documents for humanitarian and development workers aiming to improve children’s outcomes through economic strengthening activities as well as policy-focused briefs on the importance of measuring child-level impacts to achieve lasting economic change. Policy briefs have also addressed the importance of re-thinking approaches to gender-based violence programming. Guidance concerning community-based child protection mechanisms enables government representatives, NGO workers, and researchers to engage more meaningfully with local networks and groups to protect children and strengthen families.
