
Ana María Rodríguez has her MSW from Columbia University and her BA in Political Science from Los Andes University in Colombia. She has over ten years of experience working for the Colombian Government in the design, implementation and evaluation of social policies, specifically of those directed to children and poor populations. She has worked at UNICEF HQ in the Child Protection Section and is an independent consultant for child issues, in particular Early Childhood Development. Currently, she is the Chief of the Populations and Development Unit at Fundación Saldarriaga Concha in Colombia, organisation that works for the inclusion of children and people with disabilities.
