Kelly Kirshner, MPH, MSW recently graduated from Columbia’s General Public Health program and Clinical Social Work program. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, and majored in Human Biology with a focus in Developmental Psychology (and a minor in Art Practice) at Stanford University. While there, she assisted research on eating disorders and also cofounded a body positive student group. Since then, Kelly has worked primarily with children and adolescents in school settings and hospital systems, but through the social, developmental side rather than medical. She is passionate about family strengthening, particularly through social emotional programming, early childhood programs, and racial equity work.
