Patrick Onyango

Country Director, Patrick Onyango Mangen, is a Development Worker and Management Specialist, with close to 20 years of service in development work, spanning contexts of conflict emergencies, disaster response and social development. Mr. Onyango holds a Bachelors Degree from Makerere University, Uganda, a MSc in International Development from Bristol University (UK), a Post Graduate diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation Methods (Stellenbosch University, South Africa) and a Post Graduate certificate in Humanitarian Action in Conflict Emergencies (Oxford Brookes University, UK). Mr. Onyango is a serving member on the boards of several NGOs in Uganda. He is also a member of the Columbia University Child Protection in Crisis Global Steering Committee, a member of the international advisory board of The Intervention, a peer reviewed journal on psychosocial support and mental health care, and a member of the Community-Based Child Protection Mechanisms Global Reference Group.
