Elizabeth Meyer

Elizabeth is a first year graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work. Currently, she works as a research assistant at the Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer’s Disease and the Aging Brain on the Long Life Family Study. Her interests are in access to mental health care in humanitarian settings and throughout the refugee resettlement process in the U.S. During her Master’s program at King’s College London, Elizabeth conducted an analysis of risk factors for PTSD among British peacekeepers. Her work at the CPC includes qualitative analysis to determine effective approaches to strengthening the social service workforce. Elizabeth has a B.S. in Psychology from Christopher Newport University and a M.S. in War & Psychiatry from King’s College London.
