April 2nd: Violence at Home, Violence on the Streets, Who Will Protect Them? Are We Doing Enough?

AfriChild and the Care and Protection of Children (CPC) Learning Network at Columbia University will jointly host a webinar series featuring the innovative research undertaken by AfriChild and their affiliates in the past 2 years. These are child protection themes that are often overlooked due to their marginalized nature, but remain important topics for researchers, academics, and policy makers protecting children in Uganda.

Academics, practitioners, and activists will share their research and learning about the linkages between social norms and violence, exploitation, and abuse. This series is directed towards those who are working in the Global South or in similar Low-and Middle-Income Countries with marginalized children. AfriChild’s  ground-breaking research brings understanding to the realities of children at risk of violence, as well as informs innovative interventions to protect the most vulnerable in our societies.

Please register for the upcoming webinars or feel free to watch recordings from past ones.
